My name is Greer and discovering new things, people, places, and everything in between makes my life full. Growing up I loved to try any and everything from different sports, to instruments, to weird food and more. I grew up in Athen, Ga and had tons of hobbies, but tennis was one of the ones I was good at and loved. I ended up having the opportunity to play tennis for Presbyterian College, where I learned a business and finance degree. My favorite part of tennis was honestly kicking butt haha but no, it was having the chance to meet people from all over the world and learn a lot from them. After college, I worked in sales and finance for a while until I was able to make coaching my full time job. I did freelance coaching as an independent contractor for 10+ years where I traveled all over the US and even got the chance to coach in Europe. Getting these small tastes of traveling really caused me to realize that I had lived in the same place my whole life and knew I was missing out on what truly made me happy, traveling. I had build the white picket fence life dream but unfortunately it really wasn't my dream and I realized didn't make me happy. So in 2022 I gave up my standard comfortable life in the suburbs of Georgia, kept only what I could carry, and bought a one-way ticket to Australia. So for a year, I did odd freelancing jobs online and lived off of the money I made from selling my house. I started The G Source as my way of recording all of my traveling experiences, research tools, and things I've learned about different people, cultures, traveling on a budget and immersing myself in the places I've stayed. As I gained more and more experience, I realized having one place for all travel information was so helpful, because I can't tell you how much time I was spending researching restaurants, best and cheapest excursions, flight deals, best hotels on an on. So the G Source was born. I created a place where I didn't have to do endless scrolling, clicking, reading and researching to find the best ways to experience a destination. Everything here is researched, experienced vetted or I've found the best resource of information. I know first hand I don't have all the answers, I don't know everything, and I cant do every experience but I do know how to find the right credible resources that do.  It would be The #1 source for travel. Everything you need in on spot saving time, and giving you peace of mind and where feedback and advice is welcome.
